Is anyone having issues when editing frames in the slider widget? Editing values and drop down boxes seem to work; however, expanding frames is unresponsive. I can no longer edit my media.
Creating a new slider widget or duplicating that block does not fix the issue.
Thank you,
Hi Robert
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your response. I went ahead and tried to deactivate the most of the plugins while clearing cache, but had no luck.
It’s just odd because I have been able to manage the widgets for months on my paid theme, Educenter Pro, for months without any issues. I figured it was just a plugin update and had already attempted to roll back a few versions before posting here.
This issue is also affecting the Hero widget. It’s like the interface for editing the widgets is just unresponsive. I cannot expand frames to edit settings.
I was able to fix this issue by rolling all the way back to Widgets Bundle version 1.12.1
Thanks for your feedback. Glad to hear you’re making progress.
If you’d like to diagnose the root problem in the future, please, let me know. To do that you’d need to upgrade to the latest version, we’d need to work the problem from there
