editing my home page using gutenberg

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

editing my home page using gutenberg after I created it with classic editor and page builder.

If I add a new page, gutenberg comes up.
If I edit a page created in classic editor and page builder, classic editor comes up. And I can’t see how to change to gutenberg???

I have unticked “use classic editor” in settings..?

    Hi Bruce

    Thanks for posting.

Due to data migration concerns, it isn’t currently possible to auto-migrate a Page Builder page into a Block Editor page with a SiteOrigin Layout block. If all Page Builder data is cleared from the page then it’ll be allowed to change into a Block Editor page. You could manually migrate Page Builder content by exporting the page from within Page BuilderLayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout and then import the layout using the same steps except this time within a SiteOrigin Layout Block. If you make use of this process, it’s worth testing it out first. You could do so by cloning the page. If you’re editing in Page Builder you can clone an existing Page Builder page by clicking LayoutsClone: Pages.
