Hi – I’m using Unwind, and I’ve tried to edit my featured image caption, but it doesn’t change! I even deleted the image and posted it again with the correct caption, but the old one still remains. I tried using the code option, but the caption doesn’t appear.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE FEATURED IMAGE CAPTION SO I CAN EDIT IT!
Thanks
I ought to say that I’m working on posts, and the only location I could find for creating the caption is in the media file. There ought to be one on the post page too, but I can’t find it.
My site is searsislandstories.org
Thanks!
Hi
Thanks for posting your question.
Looking at the page markup, specifically, the span class name “ccfic-text”, you might be using the following plugin https://github.com/cconover/featured-image-caption or a similar plugin. Perhaps try checking your WordPress Plugins page for a plugin mentioning Featured Image Caption. If you can find the source plugin you can then try tracking down the documentation. The caption output on your site isn’t setup or controlled by Unwind or a SiteOrigin plugin.
Thank you!
I thought I had a means of editing the feature caption, but sadly, I’ve not been able to keep up with stories (volunteer project, etc.), so I forget!
And I think that the old plugin isn’t being kept up, but I found one that is.
I appreciate your time!

Hi Donna
Glad to hear you’ve found a solution moving forward.
Cheers for now.

I tried, but I got a 404 error – it's not a current page…
I'm happy to write a review – if you tell me where, I wouldn't know quite how to find the right page…

Hi, thanks for letting me know. I’m looking into the issue now. Our forum logic was trying to map the theme tag in your question to the Unwind page on WordPress.org, albeit incorrectly. The URL should have been https://wordpress.org/support/theme/siteorigin-unwind/reviews/#new-post. Apologies for the hassle. Please let us know if any queries arise in the future.
Cheers :)
