Editing after posting…

HI, I have been using Page Builder for about a year now, first i must say i love it, very handy…
I only use it on two pages on my website where i need a editable column system… it works fine…

But every time i need to add or edit them two pages, the editor open’s up and all the columns move over to one side i have to re-aline every time i open the editor, plus it adds about 30 empty rows i have to delete…

I have to do this every time i open the editor, i have dealt with it so far, but now i edit them pages a bit more often i was wondering if there was a solution….

If i don’t edit the page just open the editor and do nothing the front end goes all down one side letter by letter, a very very long page… so i must re-align and delete empty rows, puts me off doing anything to them pages…..

Anyways no rush on this bugbear…

Kind Regards

Asp

    Hi Asp

    Thanks for your support.

Please check that you’re running Page Builder 1.5.3 and WordPress 4.0. Next try de-activating all non-SiteOrigin plugins and re-test the problem. If it’s resolved then re-activate your plugins one by one, each time checking the problem.

    Hi Andrew,

Just tried this i Deactivate everything apart from”Page Builder by SiteOrigin” and the page disappeared, so i activated “Page Builder Legacy Widgets” still nothing would only come back with “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget”…
So now with only 3 plugins Active and up to date, im still having the same editing problem…

So im thinking it must be “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” i have had problems with this plugin before messing up the layout of editing page in text editor where i spend most of my time, but was fixed in an update…

    Any idea’s

    thanks

    Is everything current?

    Page Builder: 1.5.3
    WordPress: 4.0
    Black Studio: 2.1.2

The most recent version of Black Studio has a totally revamped approach towards Page Builder. A lot of of focus was put into ensuring it works well with Page Builder so it’s an important update.

Yep, i just doubled checked, all as above… I update as there available… I know black studio did 3 updates in one day this week as a few bug’s, but that was fixed…. Page builder has been like this since January… i can work with it if nothing can be done…

Maybe it’s mt theme, it’s old no updates for a long time…

    Cheers

Thanks for the effort here. That would be the last check. Switch to a default theme, just temporarily, Twenty Fourteen for example and re-test. Let me know how that goes.

Please send through the theme name and version and the author name. We’ll see if it’s something we’ve perhaps run into in the past.

Unfortunately not a theme we’ve worked with before. You could perhaps look at discussing the conflict with the authors or perhaps consider changing to another theme. Sorry we don’t have more here.

If it’s a Javascript conflict between the theme and Page Builder, here is how you can look for the error: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors
