Editing a carousel

I used to be able to edit the contents of a carousel by going to post query, where I could delete posts and change images. Now there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to do this. I have updated the plug in. Does anyone know how I can do this and why it’s changed?

    Hi Rod,

Hm. Were you previously using the Siteorigin Post Carousel widget (added by SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets to activate it) rather than the Post Loop widget?

    Hi Alex

I’ve checked in Manage Widgets in the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, and it is Active. The carousel is working but I’m unable delete a current featured post.

    Hi Rod,

There’s no direct way to remove the posts from the output at this time but you can set SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget to exclude Sticky Posts by setting the Sticky Posts setting to Exclude Sticky. You can exclude posts using custom coding but that’s not something we’re able to directly assist with but you can hire someone to do this – we recommend using Codeable.

    Hi Alex

Thanks for suggesting the workaround with sticky posts. The works to exclude the post, but then it doesn’t seem possible to reinstate the post to the carousel by unchecking the sticky post option. Looks like I will have to hire someone.
