“Edit SiteOrigin Google Maps” when trying to access Customize

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hey everyone,

I can’t access the Customize page on my WordPress dashboard. When I try and do so, I get a page which simply says “Site Origin Google Maps” and “Edit Add SiteOrigin Google Maps”, a hyperlink which seems to just refresh the page when I click it. Has anyone ever had the same problem? Already tried to delete the use of Google Maps, update SiteOrigin and the Widgets, etc.

    Hi Afonso,

We haven’t come across this before. Can you try a quick plugin conflict test? If so, try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Could you send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing when you navigate to the Customize page?
