edit.php layout bug?

I believe this started with 2.9.2, I have updated to latest available and it is still the same issue. The edit.php (both text and )page layout is broken with the main issue being I can’t add new or edit page titles. I am using siteorigins for the front page only which is fine but the only way possible to edit non siteorigin pages is to switch to the siteorigin tab type a title and switch back to the WP editor for the rest. When I deactivate siteorigin page builder the edit.php page goes back to normal. Deactivating other plugins (ACF, Add Any Extension to pages, Google XML sitemaps, Horizontal scrolling announcement, maintenance mode, Plugin organizer, Really Simple popup, Slider by Supsystic, User Login Log, WordFence, WP-polls) makes no difference. I use a custom theme based on Blankslate that hasn’t changed or updated in many months.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rgdot,

Can you please clarify what happens when you try and edit the page title while not using SiteOrigin Page Builder? Is the edited title not saved? Can you send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Please note that we currently don’t process attachments so you’ll need to upload the screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.em.

I did try to use the img tag but somehow it disappeared. I will put a link to imgur screenshot below.

Edit.php’s title box basically disappears as if it is broken or hidden behind other css elements. So if I want to create a page not using siteorigin I can not add for the page to begin with, not a save issue, unless I choose the siteorigin tab where the title box is visible and works normally.

    Edit.php as it looks now:

Of course this predates WP5.0 (since it started with siteorigin 2.9.2 and now 2.9.6 I believe) and in any case I haven’t updated to 5.0 yet.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rgdot,

Thanks. To confirm, have you tried disabling all plugins and see if this fixes the issue? I know you mentioned you disabled a number of plugins but even a single plugin activated could be causing this issue so you really need to disable all plugins. If this issue still occurs after disabling all plugins, try temporarily changing the theme to rule out a theme incompatibility introduced in a recent WordPress update.

I went through all plugins again and the only one that makes edit.php look ok is after deactivating page builder by siteorigin.
Tried twentyfifteen now, still broken, I doubt it is a theme issue cause my theme hasn’t changed or updated in long time.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rgdot,

That’s really odd as I can’t seem to replicate this. Can you please try re-installing SiteOrigin Page Builder to see if that helps? You can do this by navigating to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins and deactivate Page Builder by SiteOrigin, then delete it. Click Add New and search for and install Page Builder by SiteOrigin again.

If it doesn’t, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

Uninstalled and checked, all looks good. Reinstalled, same issue returned. Not sure how something else is interfering with SiteOrigin. I will do some more troubleshooting and if unable to fix will create the temp account, thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rgdot,

I’m sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, at this stage, I’m not too sure what specifically could be causing this issue. We really need to take a closer look at this issue to figure out what’s going on as we’re unable to replicate this issue.
