Edge and on occasion Chrome, Icons missing?

We’ve had a few users tell us that when they first come to our website the icons are missing from the front page. It happens intermittently and suddenly they appear again with no known cause for the initial disappearance or return.

This is potentially problematic as it happens at random times and essentially makes the front page not useful.

anyone else running into this? It is mostly happening in Edge and Chrome.

Circle icons specifically, and it is also affecting the social media buttons showing only the squares, not the icons in the buttons.

    Hi Bshirley

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks. Please, try reaching out to your hosts and ask them if they are blocking the following files:

http://www.cri-mms.com/newsite/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/icons/fontawesome/font/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.4.0 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

http://www.cri-mms.com/newsite/wp-content/plugins/codelights-shortcodes-and-widgets/vendor/font-awesome/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.5.0 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

We have seen hosts block files due to query strings at the end. The strings are used for cache busting when we do updates.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks the image, the above 404 not found errors are the cause.
