Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to adjust the row height according to a dynamically changed content.
Following case: I have build content with div containers and several animations which fits to a special container size defined in absolute pixels. It is not possible to build this with relative values. To adapt this diagramm to responisive break points I use a calculated scale factor. So far so good. Horizontal centering is no prob.
An unwanted sideeffect is the row height which do not change in this case. If I change the row height after scaling the content, the widget will remain on it’s current vertical position. Is there any way to solve this?
Oh, I forget to say that this animation is inside a custom widget.
Thanks in advance, Olaf
Hi Skurrilewelt,
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding (read: JavaScript) as there’s no way for the absolute positioned element to affect the size of the parent due to the separation between the two. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.
We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.
Thanks for information.
I’m a developer by myself so I don’t need custom help. After some digging in markup and code was my assumption for solving this issue like your pointed out.
Changing style by javascript mostly isn’t the best way and I found a cleaner way for my problem.
