Drop Shadow Box Plugin not working with Page Builder

Hi,

I’m using the Page Builder and love it. However, I am wanting to use the Drop Shadow Box plugin with it, but when I choose it’s widget to add in the builder it’s attributes do not work. I only get a flat colored box. Any suggestions? :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Beachdogs501

    Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, in situations like this, the fix most often needs to come from the plugin developer. We’d recommend reaching out to the developer and requesting compatibility with Page Builder by SiteOrigin. We have over a million active installs now so hopefully that’s a form of encouragement for getting a plugin like this to work with Page Builder.

    Thank you Andrew.

I did ask it's developer about that and he said to ask you. I'm new to all this so not sure who is supposed to do what. He did give me a page specific script for my site; not sure why it can't be compatible with your plugin. So, not sure where to go from here? :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for your feedback.

A bit of background so you can perhaps, better understand the challenges at hand. We’re a really agile (read small) team. At the moment we develop and support a huge array of plugins and themes as best we possibly can. We look at plugin integration requests on the basis of active installs…unfortunately. The bigger the plugin the higher priority it gets in terms of looking at Page Builder integration. That said, there are plugin developers out there who get in touch with us and put in the effort to get compatible. The prize is they can reach our large user base so it isn’t a waste of time by any means. It’s unfortunate you received the reply you did. To give you an idea of what’s open at the moment:

    Hi, I Work Here

Please, send us the script link recommended by the developer and a link to the plugin page. I’ll do my best to take a look. Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi again. I had a moment to take a look. It looks like the plugin in question is loading the necessary styles for Page Builder. Here is how you might resolve:

    1. Go to PluginsAdd New and install: Insert Headers and Footers
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/

    2. Go to SettingsInsert Headers and Footers and insert into the Scripts into the head field:

The following part of the URL: http://localhost/siteorigin must be replaced with your URL. Let me know how that goes, it’s working for me locally.
