Drawing on Google Maps Widget

Hello, I have been trying to work out how to draw custom shapes on a map created with the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget. I’m wondering if anyone has any tips to hook into the existing maps function to draw polygons and polylines using the Google Maps API? Or if there’s another way to do this.

    The only way I was able to work this out was to deregister and dequeue the internal sow.google-map.js script, modify it with my shape drawing, then queue my custom version.

    Hi Craig,

    Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a way of doing this in an update safe manner. I’ve logged this as a feature request with the rest of the team.
