Downloading and installing a Site Pack

7 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 7 years ago

Sorry to be dumb here, but I’m trying to use Vantage site pack. All instructions say to go to ‘plug in’ and ‘add new’ and browse to downloaded .zip file. Problem is download from your link was not a zip file but a folder with more files and subfolders. It is downloading a folder called ‘vantage-demo-packs-siteorigin-com’ and inside that folder are 4 x php files, 1 x css file and a folder called ‘importer’, inside that are four folders and 1 x php file – and so on. So where can I download the site pack for Vantage that is here https://siteorigin.com/pack/vantage-demo/

Many thanks
Tracy

THANKS BUT I’VE SOLVED IT! Safari was not keeping the .zip extension but Chrome did and I’ve installed successfully now. Sorry, not sure how to delete this thread!!

    Hi Tracy

Thanks for updating us, it’s most appreciated.

    All the best :)

For anyone reading, it’s possible to prevent Safari unzipping, here is how: https://wiki.umbc.edu/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=31919091
