First I would just like to say I love the plugin, it has been a life saver.
I am recently having an issue tho with the ‘Download Layout’ button not working.
I like to download layouts for use on different wordpress installs, but I have found I am no longer able to do this on one of my sites.
When I click the download button, the web browser (Chrome) spins for a second, (top left of the address bar), but then nothing happens. I have tried several times with different pages. Normally the I see the json file start downloading bottom of the web browser, but not no more. Any ideas what might be wrong?
I have WordPress 4.8.1 (latest version as I write this) and Page builder 2.5.10 (also lastest version)
Hi Devon,
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
