Displaying gif image as an item in Menu bar

10 years ago · Last reply by Magus 10 years ago

Can I display a gif picture as on of the item in the menu bar. In my website, http://hutbazaar.com.au/ the last item in the menu bar is Iftar Party as you can see. I would like to use a gif (animated text actually).

How can I do that?

    Hi A Z M Arifuzzaman

Please give this plugin a try

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-icons/

It will allow you to add an icon or image to your menu.

Add your link item to the menu, then expand that item and click on the icon option. You should then be able to remove the text.

    Hello Magus

Thanks for the reply. I tried that one. This one actually puts an icon beside the text.

I am looking to make something like this.
    http://www.hutbazaar.com.au/hbwp/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MenuWantTo.png

I want to replace entire text.

    Thanks
    Arif

    Hi Arif

I cannot find any other plugins that work with the latest version of WordPress. There is a method you can use to do this with some custom CSS. Please check this blog post. The method will be identical for your animated gif.
