Displaying a sticky text strip just over the main menu in Vantage

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Hello!

I would want to display a site wide strip with centered text, just above the main menu.

I know i can put a div in the header.php, but in with place? And is that the best way?
How to make the strip sticky so that the strip AND the main menu (also set as sticky) won’t collide on scroll, but rather display on top each-other?

I would also want to put country-based content in the strip (changing free shipping value and currency symbol)

    Hi Tomasz,

Your best bet would be to put this strip inside of the menu to ensure it’s stuck using the standard theme sticky functionality. In other words, you should edit vantage/parts/menu.php instead. You may also need to restyle things slightly to ensure this works as desired.

Regarding your last question, you’ll need to either implement geolocation check. Unfortunately, this isn’t something we can assist with.
