Disappearing menu bar

Hey. I have a problem with the menu. When the page loads it is invisible and appears only after you go down the page (when it becomes to move). I thought it might be a problem with one widget – turned off each one but nothing changed. Also swapped style.css with the original file style.css but again without effect. How can I fix this?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Adam

    Thanks for running Vantage.

Please remember that any edits made to theme files like style.css will get overwritten during theme updates. CSS changes should be pasted into Appearance > Custom CSS. If you edit other theme files, that should be done within a child theme.

It looks like your slider is covering your menu. Please can you try temporarily de-activating all plugins except for Page Builder and Meta Slider and then check for a change. If that doesn’t work please also:

Restore any files that have been edited.
Remove any Custom CSS that might being used.
Check that no updates are pending at Dashboard > Updates.

    Thanks.

Thank You. Yes – it looks like slider covering menu. When I turn it off menu works great. So my question is: how can I restore those files without losing content of site?

    Hi, I Work Here

Have you edited theme files? If so, do you know which ones?

    Hi, I Work Here

You can use an app like https://sourcegear.com/diffmerge/ to compare the original vs your file now, that’ll show you what has changed. You can then paste the altered selectors into Appearance > Custom CSS. Here is our tutorial on the topic:

    https://siteorigin.com/basics/modifying-theme-design-with-custom-css/

Earlier though you mentioned that restoring style.css had no effect though. Have you re-tried this now and found a different result?
