different padding attributes in pagebuilder???

9 years ago · Last reply by xaifu 9 years ago

Hello,
When I’m editing a row in siteorigin page builder, on the right sidebar on attributes, I just have one edit field with an attribute! How can I define different values for left padding, top padding, right padding and bottom padding?

Thank you!
Regards.

    Hi Gonzalez74,

You can use padding shorthand to do what you’re after. So for example, if I wanted to set 10px of vertical padding and 5px of horizontal padding I would input: 10 5 if I wanted to get a little more complicated and use the long form version of I this I would input the following, 10 5 10 5

Does this make sense? Please note that it’s clockwise (12 to 9). For more information on this, I would recommend giving the following MDN a read, Padding Syntax

    Hi!

I tried this method writing: 0 10 0 0 in padding input but when I save it goes back to 0 or whatever the last digit is.

Should I do something else to make it work?

    Thanks!
    Regards.

      Hi Xaifu,

That’s odd. It should definitely be working. To clarify, are you running the latest version of SiteOrgin Page Builder (2.4.10)?

Try to type in attributes>>> css class>>>

    padding-top:20px
    padding-bottom:20px
    padding-left:10px
    padding-right:10px

    You get the idea.

    Thanks Alex and Harold.

Definitely writing the padding values in the imput box resets them to only one value after saving.

    Harold’s method worked fine.
