Hi,
On the website http://ida2018.c2medias.com, I have a slideshow on the homepage
There is a big blank under, and the end of the website is very far.
I can’t find in parameters any information to resolve this problem.
Could you help ?
Thanks a lot,
David
Hi David,
This looks like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If that doesn’t help, can you try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex, Thanks for your answer, I will try tomorrow.
Something weird : When I show the browser inspector (F12), it shows on the bottom of the screen (I set it up like that). At this time, all elements go at their place, as if there was no problem. And when I hide the inspector, all stay at the good place.
I will telle you tomorrow if plugin management give me an answer.
best regards,
David
OK I found what plugin causes troubles : JETPACK :(
Unfortunately, I must keep this plugin, the person who asked me to make her website need a image gallery that only Jetpack can show (for example go there and you will understand : http://ida2018.c2medias.com/peintures/espace-temps/boules/)
If you have any idea about how to resolve it (maybe a CSS hack ?)
Thanks a lot,
David
Hi David,
To clarify, does this issue occur if you disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave Jetpack enabled)?
Hi Alex,
Yes, if all plugins are disabled (except Jetpack, SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin widget bundle), I still have the issue.
Thanks,
David
Hi David,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue. To clarify, does this issue remain if you temporarily change them?
If so, can you please clarify what Jetpack Modules you have enabled and if disabling them helps (try disabling them one by one)?
You’re a boss :)
I found what component in Jetpack causes the trouble => Lazy images
All others enabled components are OK.
I really don’t like Jetpack but the website owner wants the Pictures Mosaic, and I can’t find any standalone plugin to do it instead of Jetpack :(
So now, everything works fine, thanks for your help.
Best regards,
David
