Hello . I am getting this mensage on debug after noticing some pages are not responding (Garrett.pt website).. anything I can do?
Deprecated: Required parameter $theme follows optional parameter $settings in /home/garrett/public_html/wp-content/themes/vantage/inc/customizer/customizer.php
Hi Nuno
Thanks for reaching out.
Which version of Vantage is currently installed?
The child theme (Garrett Theme) is Version: 2.5.4.1488892902, from Vantage Premium
Thanks.
It would be best to migrate the parent theme to the Vantage version hosted on WordPress.org. The version hosted on WordPress.org is being regularly updated. You can do that by deleting the parent theme and then installing Vantage from AppearanceThemesAdd New. Use the search bar to search for Vantage.
Please, find an explanation of what happened with Vantage Premium below. I’ll be online a little later to assist with any follow-up queries that you may have.
Chat then.
Cheers, Andrew

In early August 2016 we stopped selling Vantage Premium and introduced SiteOrigin Premium, a single plugin that adds additional functionality to Page Builder by SiteOrigin, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and all of our themes. In August of 2018 we discontinued email support and updates for Vantage Premium.
Almost all of the additional settings previously found in Vantage Premium are now part of the free Vantage theme hosted on the WordPress.org theme directory. This version is being regularly updated. Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments, two options previously part of Vantage Premium are now addons in SiteOrigin Premium.
If you’d like to make use of the Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments addons in SiteOrigin Premium as well as email support and a host of additional functionality, please find a 30% discount code below:

Hello Andrew,
I installed the Vantage theme (1.20.0) as you indicated, after deactivating the child theme and eliminating the previous Vantage theme
The “Deprecated: Required parameter $theme follows optional parameter $settings in …..” notice disapeared.
I also instaled the SiteOrigin Premion plugin. Although, there was a previous problem (with some days) in the website that keep some pages from showing up (the server could not process them) After several trials, I noticed that disabling the “”Page Builder by SiteOrigin” they show up, but of course, misformated.
Hi Nuno
Thanks for your support; it’s hugely appreciated.
We can continue chatting here, or you can email our premium support desk at [email protected] at any time.
Is the issue of some pages not showing up happening at the moment? If so, I suggest deactivating all plugins except for Page Builder to see if a working baseline with Page Builder activated can be found.
It might also be helpful to activate the following debugging constants in wp-config.php. Perhaps a useful error will be logged in the debug.log file in the /wp-content/ folder.
