Defining basics

Am I forced to use a theme? I have a very simple but specific design that would be very easy to make if I could make my own styles for fonts and paragraphs, and make a header/menu in the same way I make content.

I thought that was the inherent power of a tool like Page Builder, but I can’t seem to find a way of doing it.

What I want is to
– define header menu based on the Row tool (e.g home button in column one, and rest in column three)
– define pages based on the Row tool
– define styles for fonts, paragraphs and colors
– make pages with Page Builder

… oh. Maybe what I want is Site Builder, not Page Builder.

I really hope someone can answer this.

Thanks in advance.

PS: If this is possible in SiteOrigin Premium I’ll be happy to buy it.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Steeg,

Yes, a theme is required to use SiteOrigin Page Builder. However, you could, in theory, use a very basic theme with very limited styling. Unfortunately, however, you’ll need to be familiar with CSS to be able to do this as there’s sadly no theme I’m aware of that offers all of the options you’re after (specifically 1 and 3).

Your best option would be to use something like Vantage and just override its default styling.
