Customizing Button WIdget

I inserted a button in page builder. When I try to edit the button, I am not given all of the choices shown in your documentation, only Text, URL, Open in New Window, Alignment and Style. I can’t choose the size, the font or font weight or size, etc as shown on your web site. The main concern is font size — it is too small.

    Hi mrogovin

    Perhaps give the Button Widget in our Widget Bundle a try:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/

    This might be the cause of the confusion.

    Thanks Andrew. I did not realize we were dealing with two different widgets. However, I still cannot edit the button in the footer. When I access the widget menu in the Customization sidebar, clicking on color or other attributes (other than button text and url destination) nothing happens.

    OK — scratch the above. It still does not work, but I have a work around — edit the footer widgets under Appearance->widgets rather than Appearance->Customize->Footer->Widgets
