Customizer issue with customize-partial-edit-shortcut-button

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

The button that signals an editable portion of the page inside the Customizer is showing in all widgets but the SiteOeigin Hero widget, even when I target it with CSS z-index…

Why is that, and how to solve it?

I’d like for the Customizer end user experience to be consistent for the people I build websites, and this issue is bugging me.

Thanks for the help in advance,
Ivan

Edit:

Actually the z-index must be set to no less than a 100… which looks like an overlook, since all widgets default to 5.

    Hi Ivan

    Thanks for posting.

I haven’t been able to replicate the issue. Which theme are you using? Or do you have a URL I can check?
