Customize thumbnail size for siteorigin post carousel

I already found a lot of questions about it and tried all the suggested answers, but nothing worked for me.

I’m using the widget for the latest posts but my thumbnails are cut too much, no matter which featured image size I’m using.

Most of the offered solutions simply adjust the size of my carousel itself but not the size of the images.

You can find my website here: http://wordpress.edition-bilibri.com/
the first slider you can see is the one that I’m struggling with. Please, how do I adjust the size of each individual image?

Thank you!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Deissen,

The SiteOrigin Carousel thumbnails are cropped by default. To avoid this you should select a Featured Image Size that’s not cropped – sizes aren’t always consistent so you’ll need to find an image size that you’re happy with that doesn’t have any cropping. You can also remove the cropping using a plugin like Simple Image Sizes.
