Customize not changing Titlefont thickness, size or color inside of Vantage Premium.

Hi,
Trying to create and style a site quickly for a client using the Vantage Theme with the Premium Features she paid for.
It seems that the WordPress Customize Page for the Vantage Theme is not functioning properly on her site: http://personalpower.today.
I do not see any styles listed for class=’site-title’ nor even the class=’site-title’ coming up when inspecting that element, so it would seem customizing the site-title has no effect. Rather the styles default to header#masthead .hgroup h1 as being the most specific within the Vantage theme, at least on this site.
Would customize.php overrule this were it being generated correctly? If so, then why might it not be generated correctly? Currently using a GoDaddy shared server with deluxe plan.
Any suggestions would be great, whether the customize page can be made functional, or I need to go in and probably create a child theme and then manually change some styles.
Thanks in advance.
Brian

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brian

    Sorry to hear about the hassles. Vantage 2.3 had a Customizer bug which we resolved in Vantage 2.3.1. 2.3.1 has a further issue with font selection. Sincere apologies. We’re working hard to push an update in the next 48hrs that will resolve the font selection issue.

    The site title font can be selected from Appearance > Customize > Fonts but there aren’t settings for size and color at this stage. To set those, insert the following under Appearance > Custom CSS, no child theme needed for this at least:

    /* Vantage Site Title */

    header#masthead .hgroup h1 {
    color: #666666;
    font-size: 36px;
    }

    Let us know how this goes.

    If there is anything else we can assist with, let us know.

    Hi,
    Thanks, I’d semi-forgotten about that Custom CSS section. I had IDed the sitetitle as what you list above.

    Any chance that might be part of the problem? That the site title is defined as you listed… a header… and not specifically as sitetitle? Not sure how it needs to be defined for the generic WordPress Customize Theme page.

    Anyway, thanks, I’m sure this will work,
    Brian

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for your understanding here. Site Title Font is available under Customize > Fonts, the other two properies, color and font-size are unfortunately not currently in the Customizer just yet. So to confirm, these settings aren’t in the Customizer right now, just the site title font.

    (The Customizer can target any HTML, whatever the structure/naming convention may be. Each Customizer setting has a matching selector that it targets. That’s just a little background on how it works).

    Please let me know if we’re missing each other.

    Thanks again.

    This was a great help. I have been having issues trying to change the font size of the header tags in the masthead/header of a site and this solved it.

    Love the theme. Premium is worth it. This has been one of the few things that I was frustrated with.

    Thank you.
