Customize colors without Vantage Premium?

Can you still change the colors of the header, for example, without Vantage Premium?

My only options for things to customize are the site title and tagline, front page, and widgets. However, I would really like to play with other colors besides black and white.

Easy question, but I appreciate the help!

    Thanks for running Vantage.

    The color options are unfortunately all contained in Vantage Premium. It’s possible to upgrade from as little as $5 once off. You can review the offering from Appearance > Premium Upgrade.

    The masthead background can be set in the free version by inserting the following into a Custom CSS plugin/module like the one included with Jetpack.

    /* Vantage Masthead Background Color */

header#masthead {
background-color: #000000;
}

    Adjust as required.
