Custom Widget with SiteOrigin Custom Menu

Hello – I’m revisiting my site after I noticed that the custom widget that I created that is displaying my main site navigation (SiteOrigin Menu in the layout builder) is no longer displaying. This widget is two columns, the left column is supposed to be the site navigation and the right column is a logo, which seems to have lost its formatting. I’m completely lost with how to get the navigation to display and how to format the logo so that it displays within the navigation bar. I’m also using a plug-in called “respsonive WP menu” which never affected my main navigation before on desktop view and is working properly on both tablet and mobile views. I would really appreciate some assistance to get the navigation back to normal. Thank you!

    Hi Gina,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Do you happen to have a method of providing me with a copy of the custom widget code (such as GitHub) so I can check over it? If not, consider uploading it to teknik.io or PasteBin.

    Hi Alex,

The link is http://www.mountainviewhomesaz.com and here is the link to the functions.php where I created the navigation bar – I believe I called it “Utility Bar” – https://u.teknik.io/4YHUr.php

I appreciate your help with this as I am a very light with coding experience.

    Thanks!

    Hi Ginad,

    Very sorry for the delay.
I can’t seem to replicate any of the described issues with the provided code. Although, admittedly, I did have to remove the Genesis related code. Regardless, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
