Custom Styling for #pgc and #panel elements with page updates

On this page:

Home

There are a number of ID selectors that have a custom style applied to them such as –

#panel-w56d70ed593c78-0-1-0

#pgc-w56d70ed593c78-0-1

#pgc-w56d603e503ca2-0-0

After a couple of updates to the page I realized that the ID number is resetting itself. Is there a better way to apply the styles for a #pgc and/or #panel element without having to update the custom css after every update of the page?

The custom CSS is in the head of the document, Kadence Virtue Premium Theme.

Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Alcott45,

This is something we’re definitely working on to improve. You might, however, be able to get away with setting a class, or an ID.

To add an ID / class for a row, find your row, click the wrench slightly above it to the right and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the attributes group and input an ID or class.

To add a class for a widget, find your intended widget, open the widget and head over to the widget styles sidebar. Open the attributes group and input a class.

Also, be sure to keep the plugin as we’ve been making a bunch of improvements recently that should help resolve this issue.

Thanks for the response. I am a big fan. :-) I’ll be keeping the plugin. Among other things such as the addition of being able to reverse the widgets mobile load order, I have no complaints.

Adding a class to different styles worked for other elements with custom CSS, but for some reason the styling only worked with those elements using the #pgc selectors. Is there a better way to apply those styles that I missed?

    Thanks again.

    Hi Alcott45,

Could you elaborate on what you mean? Are you trying to do something like this: #pgc-w56d603e503ca2-0-0 .example? If you are, you could just target the class directly.
