Custom link issues on one page Vantage theme site

Hello,

I’m developing a one page site using the Vantage theme. The menu links are working correctly with one small problem: they’re linking to the correct part of the page but beneath the title, making the title invisible. I’ve entered the row ids in the rows containing the vantage theme headline widget so am unsure why this is happening. I’m sure it’s an easy fix that I’m missing. If someone has an answer I’d appreciate it! Link to site it below, the problem is obvious.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ashley,

Okay, so this is basically a limitation of the browser functionality that handles this sort of link. Basically, it can’t factor the sticky menu in when scrolling the page. So, to avoid this issue, you’ll need to install a plugin like Scroll to page id. To clarify, this plugin will override the default functionality and allow you to factor in the menu.

Once installed, please navigate to WP Admin > Settings > Page scroll to id. Tick Enable on WordPress Menu Links and scroll down to the Offset setting and set it to… say, 100. Save and check the results. If it’s still not ideal, adjust the offset accordingly until it’s as desired.

By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on your Page: Dashboard. Please reference this thread and include your SiteOrigin order key in the email.
