Custom Image Size Is Not Working in Editor plugin

Hello,

I have used page builder and the editor widget in my posts for quite some time. In the editor, I have inserted media and set it to a custom size of 75×76. This has worked very well on all my posts until the other day when I upgraded to WordPress 4.7.3. Now these images are displayed in full size regardless of the size selected.

Take a look here – http://novelgobblers.com/add-our-speed-button/
You’ll notice our logo at the bottom of the page is now gigantic but it should only be 75×76.
The code in the text tab of the editor is this:

Help please.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Carol,

Did you manage to resolve the issue you’re having? I ask as I just had a quick look at your website and there’s a 75×75 image at the bottom of your page. Is this the correct image?

If not, let me know and we’ll take a closer look.

The problem was due to the Photon Module in Jetpack when I updated it the other day. It was not due to the WordPress update.

Here is the code that I placed in the text editor within page builder:

    <img class="aligncenter wp-image-220" src="http://novelgobblers.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/NGicon.png" width="75" height="76" />

Removing wp-image-220 from the HTML tag fixed the issue for that particular text widget, but I would need to remove it from every one of my posts or use a plugin to block it. I opted to deactivate the Photon Module instead.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Cellison,

I’m going to forward your response directly to the development team as that should be able to provide us direction in fixing this issue. Very sorry about this whole situation! Would it be possible to post a section (with his permission of course) of Jeremy’s response? This may prove to be even invaluable in resolving this issue. Another option would be to ask Jeremy to take a look at the GitHub issue here.

    Hi Alex,

I left a note for Jeremy to take a look at the Git-hub Issue.

He did explain that this only happens in images added to text widgets that use an attachment post ID as the image class and where the text widget has a very large maximum width. So it doesn’t affect images that are inserted into posts and pages, only those in text widgets.

Thank you for your attention on this.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Carol,

Thank you for that! They’ve definitely been able to point us in the right direction and the issue should be resolved in the next update! :)
I’ve deleted those posts and edited your latest comment. It’s like it never happened. ;)
