Custom Home Page won’t disable

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

Hi,

I am currently building a website.

The custom home page is set to off but for some reason it is still the page which you land on when you are not logged in.

I am assuming that there must be a file which is still looking at the custom page when it shouldn’t. Is there a way to manually reset, remove this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Glen. Please confirm that you’ve set a new home page after disabling custom home page under Setting > Reading. If you successfully see your new home page logged in but not logged out caching could be to blame. Are you running a performance or caching plugin? Clear that. Also try clearing your browser’s cache.
