Custom CSS class for menu items in Mobile Menu

By johnf, 7 years ago. Last reply by johnf, 7 years ago.

I’ve included custom CSS classes for some navigation menu items, so that I can color one of them differently.
But these classes seem to be be shown in the mobile nav. Why is that? What can I do to get them to show up?

You can see how the “Volunteer” and “Donate” links are different on full screen.

Any clue greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi John,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.

Unfortunate indeed. It seems like some functionality was stripped out. I’d definitely add it back in. Clients often want to highlight a single navigation item, and this is true for mobile navs as well.

    Thanks for having a look.
