I ran a bulk update on couple of widgets and since then my CTA widgets are missing.
This message displays when I want to edit it.
“The widget SiteOrigin_Widget_Cta_Widget is not available. Please try locate and install the missing plugin.”
I checked and the widget is installed and active. When I add a new widget it appears correctly as far as I can tell. I am running Vantage Premium Child theme and using SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Hi Rogeveev
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

You are good to go Andrew.

Thanks for the details. Not quite sure what the problem is yet. Going to try work the issue with Greg as soon as he’s available. Will keep you updated. Apologies for the hassle.
I’m having the very same problem. Missing CTA widgets after upgrading today. I can add new ones, but existing widgets throw the error.
Just as David Prensato mentioned. I got the same problem.. I am running a company site this widget… Iam in a big trouble…
Please , Need urgent help…. Let me know if when this problem solved..
Anyone found a solution yet?
Hi everyone. I’ve managed to recreate this issue on my localhost. I’m working on a fix now. It should be coming in the next few hours.
I’ve managed to fix the issue. It was being caused by a small typo in the class name of the Call To Action widget.
The 1.5.1 update will be coming in the next 10-20 minutes. This will fix the issue.
Just a note, because of the typo, any Call To Action widgets added using version 1.5 will show up as missing widgets. Let us know if this comes up for you. Andrew and I will help you fix it.
Thanks Greg and Andrew. I will come back to you with feedback as soon as I can.
So far it seems like the update solved the issue. I am not sure about the widgets added using version 1.5 though.
Hi Rogeveev
How many Call to Action widgets did you add before the update. If it’s just a few we’d kindly ask that you re-create them and sincerely apologise for the hassle.
If it’s many then we can resolve by exporting the page layout and making an edit to the JSON file. Let us know if that’s something you’d like to do.
Awesome, that’s great to hear. Apologies for the hassle and thanks for your understanding.
I made the update today and have the same issue now: Thread: Recent Update removed All CtA Widgets on my site!
Hi BamX1
I’l reply to your thread shortly. Thanks.
Because I always backup my DB and plugin folder before upgrading stuff, I fixed the issue yesterday by reverting. I’ll run the new update later today and report back.
Thanks for your diligence.
On another note, I have to commend you on how well PageBuilder is progressing. I used it early on and it was “OK, has potential,” but now it’s really getting to the point where I’m considering using it in all my client projects— just need to start learning to integrate it into my themes from the get-go. And now that I’m seeing your first-rate support, I’m really very impressed.
Installed the latest update with no issues.
Hi David
Super, glad to hear the update helped. Thanks for your support and encouragement. We’ve got lots of new features under development.
If anything else comes up, please, let us know :)
This is exactly what’s happening to me. And I’m using version 1.5.1. WordPress is the latest version too. I started a new thread with details a few minutes ago.
Hi Sue
I’ll reply to your thread shortly. Thanks for getting in touch :)
