Create Anchor Link in SiteOrigin Hero Button Shortcode

I have created a button for a one page website using the short code in the Hero widget and want to scroll down the page when the button is clicked.

Is it possible to assign a custom ID to a Hero widget button or do I need to download another button plugin to achieve this?

I notice that when I create a new button by default a href=”#” is created, I have tried to modify this but the Other attributes and SEO “”Button ID”” option seems to add another ID to the class and not modify the existing one.

Any help on this would be helpful.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Psb86,

The Button ID field in the Other Attributes and SEO settings group will allow you to set an ID for this button which can be used for the desired page jump. If that’s not working for you, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? Also, what is the id you’re trying to set?
