Create a href link to a text message inside a button?

Hello,

I am creating a button on my website for calling using the tel:+12223333 and that button works great! But I try to create a text message us button with the ahref sms:+12223333 and the button doesnt work at all. Is there a fix for this?

Please note, that is not the actual phone number I am using.

    Hi Oscur,

    Unfortunately, we’re not very familiar with the SMS protocol but according to this page what you used should have worked. To clarify, what device were you testing with? Also, can you please link me to the page you were testing?
