Crayon Syntax Highlighter in Visual editor

Hi,

1. Using the page builder and then Visual Editor does not launch the “Crayon Syntax Highlighter”
2. Even Manually entering the code, does not work..?

which plugin works with Vantage theme..? or how do you fix the above

    Hi Srikanth

    Thanks for your support. Sorry to hear about this hassle.

    Please could you narrow this down for us. Does the same issue occur if you try the Visual Editor widget and the code you listed in the sidebar widget area at Appearance > Widgets.

    In short, please run this same test in a regular widget area and see if the result is any difference. That’ll narrow down what we’re looking at.

    (Perhaps also try the same code in the Text widget in Page Builder as well as in a Text widget in a regular widget area).

    Hello Andrew,

    I’m having the same issue as well, and I did the tests to help narrow down the problem.
    A correction that I’ve found for the “1.” problem – it appears that the editor is launched, but that it’s z-index is lower than that of the visual editor’s pop-up, and as such, we can not see it. Closing the visual editor pop-up allows us to see this pop-up, and use it as well. :)

    Unfortunately, after testing, it appears the snippets don’t work in a normal text/html widget within the page builder, nor do they work in the visual editor / text/html widget within a normal widget area – it seems to me like the crayon itself doesn’t want to run within widgets.
