Hi everyone

I have the Sydney Pro theme from https://athemes.com/theme/sydney-pro/ and I believe it is packaged with SiteOrigin bundle. I love how the functionality of it but I have some slight annoyances I’m hoping I can remove.

The first problem I have is under
EditRow > Row Styles > Design

*Widget title color
*Headings color

Everytime I edit a widget the header and widget title color they default back to a deep, dark grey and is annoying to keep clearing as I’ve set all my colors in a child theme stylesheet.

The second problem is more of a suggestion unless there is more conveluted method around it. I initially inserted a Text widget inside a row but wanted to move it into a row inside the page builder widget. The only way I could move the widget over from one row to another was to right click the row and copy and paste it in the new row.

Would be nice if you could cut and paste and/or have the ability to expand the rows inside the layout builder widget so that you could drag and drop a widget from another row to and from the layout builder widget.

Many thanks

Will

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Will,

Regarding the first issue, this sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    2. Unfortunately, it’s only currently possible to copy and paste rows/widgets. I’m going to log this as a feature request.
