Corp Theme Styling

Great theme, but I have a few styling questions please.

1. Where can I increase the font size of my main menu?

2. Love the underline that remains on the main menu to show you what page you are on, but if you are on a submenu page, there is no indicator in the main menu. Is there a way to have the top level remain underlined if you are on a child page of the menu item?

3. You seem to have a single setting for colour of all Header Tags, while other themes (Bento which uses Site Origin) has settings for h1, h2, h3 in the theme settings. I was really surprised to see this – have I missed something somewhere else or does this have to be addressed in ‘additional css’.

Many thanks
Tracy

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tracy

    Thanks for reaching out.

    1. At the moment there isn’t a font size setting for the menu. It could be done with Custom CSS. Our SiteOrigin CSS has a visual editor that you could consider.

    2. I’ve logged this as a feature request, thanks: https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-corp/issues/61

    3. You haven’t missed anything, doesn’t offer a color setting per H tag, we’ve tried to keep the settings section as lightweight as possible. It’s possible to make a change like this with Custom CSS. We’re able to assist with small CSS changes under our premium support scope but unfortunately, not here on the forum.

    Thanks for your reply Andrew.
    1. I installed Custom CSS – looks like an amazing plugin – well done SO!! Unfortunately, increasing the font size on the primary menu doesn’t increase the font size, it does shift the menu around so something is increasing around it but it is not the font size. I am familiar enough with customising CSS to have done this but it doesn’t work, so there must be something that is holding the font size to be what it is.
    #primary-menu.menu {
    font-size: 50px;
    }
    this is the code I tried. Increasing/decreasing the font size makes the menu shift around and the spaces between the letters get bigger. It’s very weird. Can you shed any more light on this please?

    2. that’s great! Do I need to add my vote for this on the link or is that a feature request for developers to work on? That would be great to have that implemented :)

    3. Okay understood thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi :)

    1. It’s possible if you select .main-navigation ul li for the top level menu items. I, unfortunately, can’t get deeper into Custom CSS within our free support scope at the moment, I wish I could. I’ve also logged this request for you here: https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-corp/issues/62

    2. Thanks, your vote opened the issue on GitHub. We’ll attend as soon as we’re able.

    3. Thanks.

    Thank you so much Andrew for that pointer – that did it!! I now have a much better sized main menu – thanks very much. I look forward to the underline coming out on a new update.
    Excellent stuff. Thanks again.
