Corp navigation/ Sitebuilder Pro features?

By Violetta, 6 years ago. Last reply by Violetta, 6 years ago.

Hi there,

We’re currently looking at switching from our current theme supplier to your Corp theme
with Sitebuilder, and so far, it looks excellent.

We’ve been hacking around with the options for a day or two and endeavouring
to work out whether it’s going to work for what we need.

Anyhow, in terms of this, I just wanted to ask you if it’s possible to centre the main navigation
in this theme, and how ?

I found the following thread on Vantage, but the code from there isn’t working
with Corp:

How can I centre the Menu on the screen

Also, I wonder if you could point me to a list of what options/ functions
come with Sitebuilder Pro as opposed to the standard one?

Thanks greatly.

Best wishes, Violetta

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Violetta

    Thanks for reaching out.

Corp is being actively developed at the moment with lots of new features on the way. Unfortunately, for the moment, we don’t have additional header layouts. Sorry. I’m sure we’ll add in the future but not in the next few months.

We don’t really have a Page Builder Pro, SiteOrigin Premium is a plugin that adds additional features to our themes and plugins including Page Builder and the Widgets Bundle. Please, head over to Download: SiteOrigin Premium and scroll down to the Addons section. Hope that helps explain a little more about SiteOrigin Premium. Most addons offer a small explainer video, there is also an explainer video for SiteOrigin Premium as a whole at the top of the page.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your reply.

What I was asking in regard to Corp was whether there is some custom css I can
add into the custom css panel to centre the top navigation?

As in the example (forum link) I posted above.

I wasn’t referring to doing this via the site builder back-end interface – as that’s evidently
not an option, as you point out.

Yes, I was, actually asking about the features list of SiteOrigin Premium not ‘Page Builder Pro’ – sorry, I put the wrong name there. I will look at the info on the link you sent above – thank you.

    Hope you can assist.

    Best wishes, Violetta

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for the update.

    You can try:

    .site-header .site-header-inner {	flex-direction: column;}.site-header .site-branding>* {	transform-origin: center center;}.site-header .site-branding {	margin: 0 auto 20px auto;	padding: 0;	text-align: center;}.site-header .main-navigation {   	text-align: center;}

A large portion of the addons focus on enhancing widgets in our Widgets Bundle, that’s why I wanted to sort of widen the scope of the discussion, SiteOrigin Premium adds to more than just Page Builder.

    Thanks greatly Andrew.

That code’s done the job. I quite wanted to check I could at least achieve that somehow
    – outside of it being a function in the Sitebuilder.

“SiteOrigin Premium adds to more than just Page Builder”

= Thanks for the infos, I will now check out the “Addons section” and the rest via your
    link about “SiteOrigin Premium”.

The voucher code also very appreciated!

Thank you for your time in this.

    best wishes, Violetta

    Hi, I Work Here

    Super, glad that helped.

The header is part of the theme, it’s outside of the context of Page Builder. Corp can be used with or without Page Builder.

    All the best.

Great, thanks – looking through that in a minute.

thanks for your time, best wishes, V.

    BTW:

RE: “If you’re interested in SiteOrigin Premium and email support, please find below is a 15% discount code that can be used during checkout: ForumUpgrade”

= Assume this applies to the option: “subscription, billed yearly until cancelled” ?

Will the subscription renew on year two at the same rate (i.e: with the 15% discount applied)
or will it just be the usual rate (£29) ?

Either way, it’s really good deal for one these subscription based CMS’s
    – far better than most indeed

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks again for your interest.

The discount offered applies to both the subscription and once off options.
The subscription will renew at the full price and can be cancelled at any point before renewal should you wish to do so.
