    Thanks for reaching out and for the wait.

    Apologies for any confusion created, AppearanceHome Page is just a shortcut. When enabled it creates a page in Pages and sets that page to the static home page at SettingsReading. Using Appearance > Home Page isn’t any different to setting a static home page manually and then using Page Builder on that home page.

    If you really wanted to manage your home page from Appearance > Home Page you could go to AppearanceHome Page, turn it ON using the toggle button at the top of the page and then click the Prebuilt button, from there you can clone your current home page and import it into AppearanceHome Page.

    Thanks for your comments Joost. For sure, if you’d like to convert the static home page back to a blog home, that’s the way.
