Hello, I would like to add, after deactivating Contact Form 7 plugin and then making a few changes to the home page I encountered the same issue again where page builder fails to load in the text editor and only shows html text. I deactivated All in One SEO Pack for WordPress and now it seems to be working again and I can update the site home page in page builder mode. This seems to be an issue with the latest update to Page Builder/Site Origins Widget.
PS I cannot comment on the previous post so I started a new thread. See last post. Thanks.
Hi Ash
If you have a bit of a development background, it would be helpful to enable WP_DEBUG to check for errors. More on that here https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-set-up-wordpress-error-logs-in-wp-config/.
Please, try the following to try and locate the plugin conflict, assuming there is one (it could be something else like a memory shortage which is why error logging would be helpful):
* Find a working baseline. Temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. Does Page Builder work? If so, reactivate your plugins one by one. Check for the issue after each activation.
* When Page Builder breaks, make sure you have the correct plugin by deactivating all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin and the plugin that just caused the issue. In this state, does the issue persist?
