Continue Reading Button Disappears

When I add an excerpt to my blog posts the “Continue Reading” button doesn’t show up on the homepage for that post. But if I just let it manually crate the excerpt it does appear. What’s the deal?

    Hi Redleafstyle,

    What is your Post Content set to? Full Content or Post Excerpt? You can find what it’s set to by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsBlog? Try setting it to the other value or alternatively, tick Post Excerpt Read More Link

    Hi Alex,

    I have it set to Post Excerpt. And, I have the box checked for Post Excerpt Read More Link.

    The “Continue Reading” button still only appears when I don’t input my own excerpt and let it manually generate one. If I input my own excerpt (which I want to do), the button doesn’t appear.

    Hi Redleafstyle,

    I’ve brought this issue up with the development team and they have confirmed this is a bug. This will hopefully be fixed in an upcoming release.
