Content not Visible whilst Page Builder Plugin Active

I have had a similar issue in the past but this time I am unable to resolve it.

I create a product using Page Builder and save it as usual. The SEO by Toast plugin can not see the content to check its suitability etc but you can deactivate Page Builder to check if you wish.

Additionally when you view the product all of the content does not display. Page builder has transferred it to the editor as you can see it in both visual and text tabs.

Additionally all the other widgets such as pictures or video do not show.

If you then disable Page Builder plugin all the content becomes visible on the website but any widget formatting does not work.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Simon

To take a quick step back for a moment. Have you been successfully using Page Builder on WooCommerce product pages? Usually we’d suggest going to Plugins > SiteOrigin Page Builder and de-activating Page Builder for the post type Products, and all other WooCommerce post types. Perhaps just bring me up to speed on how that’s been working in the past and I’ll do some testing on my side.

Other steps to troubleshooting would be to de-activate all other plugins, so leave WooCommerce and Page Builder activate, re-test, just to see if there is a plugin conflict occurring. It’s also important to run all available updates from Dashboard > Updates before doing so.

If content is copying over to Visual/Text then Yoast should be able to analyze it. The setting for copying content which you can check if it’s active, is at Plugins > SiteOrigin Page Builder > Copy Content.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have always used Page Builder on products and it used to work? I was not aware that it should not be used. A shame as that is where most of the work is required.

I have already tried the switching off of all the other plugins which did not resolve the issue.

Certainly the Page Builder info is copying to Visual?Text as when you switch views everything can be seen – but Yoast still can not see it?

All updates were complete before I raised the issue.

So if there is a way to get Page builder to work on Products it would be a huge help.

I will de select it for now.

    Hi, I Work Here

Sorry, this isn’t what I meant to say. All I’m saying is that usually we’d suggest not using PB on WooCommerce post types as we haven’t done any testing there. However, if it’s working fine for you then that’s perfect. Keep going.

Can you perhaps send through a set of admin login details to [email protected] so I can take a look? If you do mail, please send it all in a single email from yourself and include a link back to this thread. Thanks.

    Andrew

PageBuilder works when creating everything and its writing to Visual and Text but whilst the Plugin is active the product content does not show when looking at the site in a browser.

If I deactivate the plugin the content shows.

    User info sent by email.

Thanks. I’ll jump into that as soon as possible.
