content disappeared

I have a licensed proteus theme with your site origin editor plugin ..
Content from several but not all pages has disappeared completely.
several pages had no revision history and thus are not restorable.
the pages with revision history are not allowing restoration (restore version button is not clickable)
the site admin had not been accessed in weeks. .. no nefarious access from our hosting logs either.
the site owner noticed this after several weeks apparently .. and as such, our backups have the same empty pages.
I have noticed several other people with disappearing content due to this plugin.
is there a resolution to this ?
thank you in advance

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

If that doesn’t help, we’ve heard of a few reports that Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader is causing issues for certain users as it’s running in WP Admin for them. Are you using Cloudflare and if so, are you using Rocket Loader? If so, try temporarily disabling it to see if that helps.

    Hi..
I actually disabled all non site-origin plugins and changed themes before contacting you..
    the issue persisted ..
and as mentioned, I have repaired the content manually already, so i'm not able to do any further testing.
I'm not the only one who has reported this and WD Gallery says it isn't their plugin either so I'll chalk it up to aliens and address it in the future if it happens again.
    thanks for your time.
