Content build with page builder gives error

Hello,

I’ve tried to use the page builder of this plugin on the Ascend Premium theme.
It did work, and it looks good on the page, but when I go back to the page where I used the prebuild layout, it gives an warning: “This block contains unexpected or invalid content.”

This warning is not given the moment when I inserted the prebuild layout, and on the page the content still shows like it’s supposed to be. However, when I change something at another block at the page, the content of the sitebuilder prebuild block changes shapes and shows weird on the page.

Best,
Angela

    Hi Angela

    Thanks for reaching out.

Is it perhaps possible to recover the block by clicking on the three vertical dots on the right of the block and then use the recovery link?

    Hello,

    No that doesn’t work.

Meanwhile, I’ve done some research myself, and in this post more or less describes the same problem is described: Thread: “this block contain unexpected or invalid content”

My page does not include twitter feeds, just image menu items from kadence asend them.

Is it possible that I should download other plugings to get Page Builder properly working? I’m working with th ascend premium theme of kadence, and page builder is one of their recommended plugins. I don’t know why this doesn’t work properly for me.

At first when I set up a row and elements, it looks fine. It also shows good on the page. But when I want to edit it later, it gives an error. When I look at the html view I see that there are some extra spaces in the code, but I’m unable to fix these.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Angela

You can try the same beta update for Page Builder sent in the thread you’ve linked to. You can find a copy here.
To make use of this update, go to Plugins, deactivate and delete Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Next, go to PluginsAdd NewUpload Pluginand upload the ZIP file from your desktop. Activate.

Once you’ve recovered a block, a change must be made within the block before saving the page.
