Hi,
when editing word press sites new rows show up with an extremely large blue frame. It fills up the whole screen. Doesn’t matter if there is a widget inside or ten or none. for editing the row below or above I have to scroll a lot and I can never see 2 rows at the sam time.
Hi Marcel,
This is typical as a result of another plugin incorrectly affecting our CSS. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi,
thanks.
I’ve identified WPML is the problem.
WPML CMS 3.1.8.3 is installed. If we need to update to the newest Vers we’ll have to purchase it. Therefore I would like to be sure if that’s the reason.
Hi Marcel,
That’s odd. I’ve never seen this sort of issue caused by that plugin before. Does this issue happen if only WPML CMS and SiteOrigin Plugins are the only activated plugins?
yes. exactly. All plugs are deactivated, even siteorigin widget. Only WPML and SiteBuilder and the problem appears. When I deactivate WPML it’s gone.
Hi Marcel,
That’s odd. Yeah, this must be an issue specific to the version you’re using. Sorry mate. :(
