Contact Form Widget shows activated does not appear when click Add Widgets

I am working on WordPress 4.7.4 using Sydney Theme. I am trying to add a contact page using Site Origin

I installed your plugin bundle and activated all the widgets including Contact Form. So far so good.

I try to insert the contact widget BUT it does not show as being one of the widgets in the Widgets bundle.

I tried deactivating all Widgets except Contact Form and though now only 6 still show (I don’t know why as I deactivated them) but still it does not show and so I cannot insert it into the page.

My development skills are rudimentary at best so how can I overcome this?

Help Please

Paul

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Paul,

That’s odd. To clarify, you activated the other widgets by navigating to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets, right? If so, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Hello Alex thanks for the reply – I installed the upgrade you issued for your plugins and it then worked.

Whatever caused the issue your latest release cured it!
