Contact Form Widget – Conversion Tracking with Google Analytics

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

I am using WordPress 4.7.3 running Vantage Premium theme with the Widgets Bundle plugin – Contact Form Widget.

Conversion tracking via Google Analytics is only possible with a page load.

Due to the fact that only a success message can be configured within the contact form no new page is loaded after a click on the submit button. This means that a conversion tracking is not possible with this contact form.

Do you have any hint for me howto add this functionality?

    Hi Uwe,

The success message isn’t added via Ajax so, in theory, you could add the conversion tracking directly to the success message. You could detect when the contact form has been submitted and log that.
