Contact Form – Reply To instead of From?

Hi there,

Is it possible for the contact form widget to use a fixed FROM address and use REPLY-TO for the user’s email? With the current (default) implementation, lots of contact form emails end up in the spam folder (for failing SPF checks, since the From header’s address doesn’t match the PHP mailer’s domain/IP).

I think it’d be best if we could specify a fixed From header (e.g. “[email protected]”) and use the Reply-To header for the user’s email address.

Can this be done (without customizing / extending the current widget)? If not, can SO please add this feature?

    That’s a very good point. I’ve logged this issue and it should hopefully be fixed in an upcoming version.
