Contact Form not sending email

Hi, I have added the contact form (infact used the default)

Tried to change from email id and even left it blank, but upon testing, it does not send an email.

Kindly assist.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Your WordPress install is responsible for sending emails. Try setting the From address to an email address that matches your domain. If that doesn’t help it’ll be best to move over to sending email via SMTP, that’s the most reliable method. WP Beginner cover how to use Gmail here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-send-email-in-wordpress-using-the-gmail-smtp-server/. You can also use their SMTP plugin to send email via various third-party services or using your hosting SMTP service.
