Hi. I’m using the contact form widget and I’m having the next problem: it worked out perfectly ultil I configure the Spam Protection whit the reCAPTCHA, as I do so it stops sending the email when I test the form. Is there any posibility that I require any aditional configuration from the reCAPTCHA? I followed all the steps on the video tutorial. I checked the spam folder and it’s not there. Y tried also changing the theme, plugings, etc and nothing appears to work except taking out the spam protection.

To clarify, does the form submit correctly (as in, it prevents a message that it’s submitted) or is there an error on submission?
Hi Alex. There’s no error message when I a click on the submit button and I dont get an email when I try it. With the “use reCAPTCHA box” on it doesn´t send the email, with the “use reCAPTCHA box” off, it does. In either case I don´t get an error message.
PD: I have the akismet deactivated.

To clarify, what do you see if you don’t see an error? The success message?
Would it be possible for you to send me an export for your contact form? To do this please open the contact form page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.
Hi Alex. Yes, I see de success message, wich makes me think that the form does submits. I’ll try to send you the contact form. By chance: ¿cuould it be something related with the hosting’s SSL certificate?

It’s very unlikely that the SSL certificate would be causing this issue.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at the contact form?
Hi Alex. I don´t really know why but I install a activate the akismet plugin and now the form works just fine, even though I don't have it activated in the Anti-Spam protection option in the form. Thaks anyway for your time and pacience. Regards!
